The danger of static electricity
Static electricity is free electric charges that appear in rooms with low humidity and an increased amount of synthetic materials and other electrifying surfaces. We've all dealt with it at home - it's a little annoying, but the static itself isn't dangerous. The danger is the reaction of the person whom she took by surprise: unexpected movements can cause injury. At the enterprise, electrical equipment can be damaged, and if the environment is explosive, then static charges can even detonate. This is why it is so important to use antistatic floor coverings in industrial plants.
